We are health care providers who believe that pharmaceutical  promotion should not guide clinical practice. Our mission is to encourage health care providers to practice medicine on the basis of scientific evidence rather than on the basis of pharmaceutical promotion.

They also have a pen amnesty program.  Send them a collection of pharmaceutical pens from your hospital or clinic, and they will replace them with others.  They also have a wealth of information and easy, yet influential things that you can do.

This website is made by a medical student, and simply explains how the U.S. healthcare system could operate.  He's also made an animation that explains single payer healthcare.

Founded in 1985, the Council of Canadians is Canada ’s largest citizens’ organization, with members and chapters across the country. We work to protect Canadian independence by promoting progressive policies on fair trade, clean water, energy security, public health care, and other issues of social and economic concern to Canadians.

It's the largest citizen organization and along with protecting their healthcare system from corporate domination, they are working toward a lot of other issues. Our neighbors to the north continue to amaze me.

For more than 40 years, the OECD has been one of the world's largest and most reliable sources of comparable statistics, economic and social data. The Organisation provides a setting where governments compare policy experiences, seek answers to common problems, identify good practice and coordinate domestic and international policies.

They have a lot of information, but it seems that they have changed access to the statistics. It's a huge site, so you may still be able to get good information.
